Hey guys, N2P has been having some issues posting today, and while I work on helping him out, I'd just like to know if anyone else has encountered any new problems with using the board since this morning.

Yeah he says he's done all that, cleared the cache, etc.  He's still able to PM somehow but he says attempts at posting in threads are timing out.  I just logged into his account and it seems fine so I'm not sure what to suggest now.

There was a period between 10:00am-10:30am that I couldn't post.  I kept on getting a "server down" message.  Other than that, its been fine.

Modifying posts also seem to be going slow to not happening, at least with me.

Could you describe what's happening in a bit more detail?  Are you using quick edit or full modify?  Are you able to edit but not save changes, or not able to edit at all?

I am using the full modify and I am able to edit but when I hit save my screen goes nowhere and does not post.

I can't change my under-avatar message. When I hit change profile, it loads for a minute or two then does nothing.

I am using the full modify and I am able to edit but when I hit save my screen goes nowhere and does not post.

With me, the exact same thing happens, except after around 30 seconds, I can just refresh the message, and it has been edited.

Like I'll click change profile and the green loading bar at the bottom of my browser will go about half-way and then disappear.

Yeah I'm having problems logging on for the past hour...system's all screwed up on my end.   Now I just had this message:

That's expected...  I had to switch the database back to another server and the other server didn't have the same session info stored, so probably everyone will have to re-login.  Sorry guys

Everything should be more or less "normal" again, please keep posting any issues you might be having in this thread so I can finish cleanup and damage control.

I guess I am the minority but the site seemed to be running much faster for me under the change.  Previously, the site would frequently lag whenever I make a post or open a new thread.

Before today, when I would hit the Post button, it would very often (almost always) take close to a minute to send and place me in the thread where the message was posted. Because of the long wait for it to send, I have also timed out a few times. But that was before today. Whatever tweaks you did, it seems to have reversed things at my end.

I had the same issues...but appears to be corrected on this end too.

Actually I started noticing it on my end last night (maybe before, can't remember)...bottom line is it doesn't seem to be doing it anymore here.
